God’s Omniscience: Finding Comfort in God’s Knowledge Exodus 3:7

Coming back to our Exodus series, we hear from Bruce Newsham, looking at the attributes of God in Exodus. He explains from God’s Word how we can find great comfort in God’s incredible attribute of Omniscience – the fact that He knows all things. He is a strong tower where we can find safety and comfort in these times of trouble.

Legalism, mysticism and asceticism: Col 2:16-23

Bruce continues the series “Rooted in the Gospel” with a look at some of the false teaching that had crept into the church at Colossae and explains some of the “isms” that had tried to replace the truth of the gospel. As Christians, 2000 years later, we need to be on our guard against similar thinking that is packaged in a different form but leads us away from the simple truth of the good news of salvation and spiritual life found in Jesus Christ alone.

The Heart Behind Evangelism

We take a short break from our Colossians series on the gospel with a three week series on evangelism. We see this as such an important part of our role as a church – to be heralds and stewards of the amazing message of good news that Jesus brings in the gospel. Bruce starts the series off with a consideration of our hearts – this is where evangelism needs to start.
